Our CEO, Prof. Günther Schuh, has been working with the italian designer Paolo Spada for many years. Naturally, Paolo Spada is also on board for the development of our electric shuttle META. This is what our CEO says about the new design:
"Our ingenious designer Paolo Spada and his team have made the impossible possible: the unmistakable design combines outstanding functionality with elegance and lightness.
The META appears much larger inside than it does from the outside. However, the footprint is no larger than a typical SUV (X5, GLE), but inside it surprises with a cinematic space with 5 or 6 seats, some equipped as perfect office workstations. At the same time, the META remains a passenger car with the highest safety requirements. As a result, the shuttle can travel at 160 km/h and meets the high crash requirements of passenger car registration, with the driver sitting confidently high and centrally and thus above the crucial crash structure of the SpaceFrame.
There are countless unique details such as
All this using only basic components available on the market.
Chapeaux, another masterpiece by Paolo Spada, his team at Spada Concept and his high-performance network in Turin.
With partners like these, innovating is really fun: research on the RWTH Aachen campus, Italian design, German engineering, Italian-German prototyping."
